Little Lake Eureka – 12/11/25
Linda Rogers, Tracey Carroll, and Jennifer Boardman volunteered for 1.5 hours on the December 11, 2025 workday; our last formal workday of 2025. Linda decorated the deer topiary with a red garland “scarf”, making it festive for the holiday season. Tracey pruned the Amsonia (Arkansas Bluestar) back, as it was finished with its Fall display
Berryville Library, Projects
Berryville Library – 12/9/25
This past Tuesday, Christy Zuniga, Jan Scheel, Jennifer Hudspeth, Vonnie Dikeman, Regina and Randy Hooten, Pam Richter, and Anita Engert volunteered to rake and remove leaves in the Berryville library garden. We left some leaves to decompose and return to the soil, and we tidied and cleaned the garden beds in preparation for winter. A

The Carroll County Master Gardeners enjoyed their December meeting and potluck, which featured a diverse array of delectable dishes. We benefited from a presentation, Master Gardeners 101, led by Randy Forst, the state consumer horticulturist and head of the state Master Gardeners program. His expertise is truly admirable. Berryville Library, Projects
Berryville Library – 11/4/25
On Tuesday, November 4, Luanne Bullard, Anita Engert, and Jennifer Hudspeth volunteered at the Berryville Public Library garden. Their tasks began with removing Daylily and Iris foliage from the beds, watering the container Kimberly Queen ferns, followed by weeding and general bed clean-up.
