 We’ve coaxed some beautiful flowers out of the plants at Little Lake Eureka this summer despite the extended dry spell, thanks to regular watering.  We divided and replanted some of the bulbs in the garden and removed the old honeysuckle vine.  A Proven Winners perennial Salvia was planted in its place.  The blue lobelia, surprise

March 14, 2024 Little Lake Eureka

Carroll County Master Gardeners had their first official workday March 14, with Linda Rogers and Jennifer Boardman participating.  The Lenten Roses and narcissus flowers are beautiful now!  We saw many poppy and larkspur seedlings, and the native cardinal flower and blue lobelia are greening up.   The boxwood in the deer topiary is filling in
