Our last scheduled workday at LLE for 2023 was November 2. Linda, Jerry, and Jennifer Boardman attended. The weather was beautiful! Linda used Jerry’s battery operated hedge trimmer to trim the deer topiary and boxwoods. We all felt it was a good year for the garden at LLE. A chrysanthemum and the native aromatic blue aster were still in bloom. The aster actually had a butterfly feeding on its nectar! Thanks to all who helped at this garden in 2023, including Jennifer Huffman, Mariellen Griffith, Regina and Randy Hooten, Linda Prince, Jerry Hembd, Linda Rogers, Steph Gordon-Glassford, and Jennifer Boardman.
