Little Lake Eureka continued to look great in August and September. It was exciting to see our native Cardinal Flower plants bloom for the first time, and the Cleome flowers are always beautiful when in bloom. Our Boxwood deer topiary is really filling in nicely!
Linda planted zinnias from seed earlier this year, and they are in full bloom now. The native Blue Lobelia that we planted last year has been a strong performer this year, adding that blue color we all love. All kinds of pollinators seem to really appreciate the cleome flowers, even if they are not considered native to this area.
