Reeves, Sue Davis, Anita Engert and Jennifer Hudspeth enjoyed the company and the gardens.

Both front and rear garden areas were tidied with weeding, pruning, and removing spent bulb foliage. Daylilies along the back of the library are looking sick and possible causes and solutions were discussed. This is a disappointment in the garden as daylilies are usually beautiful and at their peak in June. In contrast, the Daylilies in the main area of the garden are doing well.
Scenes from the library:
A recent donation to the gardens enabled us to purchase three Emerald Colonnade Hollies. These will be planted soon and serve as a hedge to define the east end of the garden. Photos of the hollies will be included in our next work day report.
