What is Permaculture?
It is basically a philosophic and scientific method combining agriculture, social design principles, and natural ecosystems.
Permaculture is a philosophy of working with, rather than against nature. It is a systems approach that involves thoughtful observation not thoughtless labor, looking at plants and animals in all their functions rather than treating many areas as a single product system.
