Berryville Library 2/27/25

A follow up to the workday report – Thanks to Randy and Regina Hooten for going later to spray the pathways, and for blowing off and cleaning debris from the border stones around the garden beds.

We wanted to share photos and a big ‘Thank You’ to Julie Sooter for working today on the large perennial bed between the library and senior center. This bed is much larger than it appears in the photos. Julie pruned, weeded, and removed all the dead debris from area. It looks great!

There are 20 bags of compost at the library for members who need hours. A couple of people plan to go in the morning, and the compost is for topdressing the seven hydrangeas, the blue atlas cedar, and the two Japanese maples. Anyone needing sanctioned hours is welcome to join!
