CCMG’s last 2023 workday at the Berryville Library was full of bulb planting, leaf raking, watering, and general garden maintenance. Berryville Library workdays are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, weather permitting. A recent CCMG workday at the Berryville Public Library. Anita Engert and Jennifer Hudspeth concentrated on watering the garden. The containers and garden beds received a thorough watering. Due to minimal rain, the weeds were few and manageable. There was a praying mantis hanging out on the newly planted Cryptomeria ‘Japanese Cedar’, and a small, harmless (possibly male) orb weaver spider has taken up residence
