After a delicious holiday potluck brunch, Alan Gregory presented an interesting program on “Birds in Your Backyard” and the Arkansas Audubon “Bird Friendly Yard Program”. He is President of the Harrison Bird Club, Program Director for Boone County MG, Chairman for the Pollinator Garden, and operates the Boone County turtle rescue and rehab (licensed by the Ar. Game and Fish Commission).
He shared some great tips on attracting birds, feeding, native and non-native plants for the garden, predator problems (beware outdoor pet cats); and answered many gardeners’ questions. Thanks Alan! Check out his presentation Birds in Your Backyard.
