Darla Danvers and Jennifer Hudspeth volunteered at the recent Berryville Library workday. Weeding and pruning the spent bloom and foliage was the focus. The gardens are beautiful after the recent rains. The daylilies, echinacea (coneflower), oak leaf and macrophylla hydrangeas, russian sage, drift roses, hosta, and purple heart are all in bloom. Pollinators are busy in the garden and the bumblebees especially love the russian sage. Scheduled Library workdays are the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. The next workday is Tuesday, June 24 at 8:30 am.
