Master Gardener Program

Carroll County Master Gardeners receive 40 hours of training through the U of A Cooperative Extension Service which operates Master Gardener programs state-wide.

Members work in their communities and surrounding areas and share the joy of gardening with all who are interested. Master Gardeners commit to serve 20 hours of community service and receive 20 hours of education every year to maintain their memberships.

There are currently four service projects in Carroll County, one in Berryville:
Berryville Library Garden; two in Eureka Springs – Little Lake Eureka and the Doggie Thrift Store; and the Green Forest Square.

Master Gardeners meet on the second Saturday of each month in locations throughout the county. Visitors are welcome, see our web site calendar for details. Field trips and educational programs bring more opportunities for learning and social time for the members.
